Bio:

Cátia Vide is a portuguese illustrator and graphic designer borned in Portugal, in 1990.

After working as designer and illustrator for seven years for advertising agencies and a retail company, she started to dedicate herself entirely to illustration, working globally as a full-time freelancer, collaborating in editorial projects, picturebooks, advertising, packaging, animation, among others.

She explores mixed media technique with textures, letterpress stamps, crayons, markers, paints, paper cuts, drawing, typography and fun colors to connect emotionally with her audience.

She also likes to explore ceramics, silk-screen and punch-needle as experimentation techniques where she apply illustration.
