Bio:

Hello, I'm Traci Bixby, the artist behind Mossy Blue Paper Studio! Mossy Blue is inspired and built on my life and love of the natural world. So many of my experiences of hiking the mossy trees and sailing the blue seas have made their way into my hand lettering and watercolor paintings. I attended the School of Visual Concepts in Seattle, where I found my unique voice in watercolor and began to draw inspiration from my beautiful surroundings. I also obtained a certificate for art in the children's market from the University of Washington's extension program. One of the highlights of my career so far has been winning a Louie Award in 2023 for my greeting card, Sleepytime. I hope to spark joy, bravery, and appreciation for life's tender moments with each painting. I create pieces that invite you to pause, reflect, and perhaps even wander off on your own adventure. Now, with my true love, two daughters, and our beautiful dog Finn, I continue to dream—whether camping with friends, beachcombing, or boating along the Salish Sea, my heart remains rooted in nature and creativity.
