Bio:

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! After retiring from 30 years of classroom teaching, I have been able to devote all of my time and artistic passion into painting and illustrating.
I love walking into my studio each morning and realizing there are endless possibilities in front of me!
My medium of choice is watercolor for its transparency and luminescent qualities. Dedicating hours upon hours to exploration and fine tuning my skills with this medium, I feel I have found my authentic voice in watercolor.
I receive inspiration from nature, particularly florals and birds.
For the past several years, I have been focusing my energies on greeting card production and POD sales. My illustrations have been produced on greeting cards, pillows, mugs and other products. My work has also been available for purchase at various boutiques in the area, along with direct commissions.
