Erin MacEachern, better known as "Erin Mac," is an illustrator, designer, and artist-educator based in Lowell, Massachusetts. She's a lover of letterforms. Nothing brings her more joy than crafting witty and unexpected solutions, both in the words she writes and the images she draws. She is constantly experimenting but has recently been working with gouache, pencils, and digital media. Regardless of the medium she uses, she finds comfort in seeing the human hand in the scribbles of a line. She studied illustration and earned her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art & Design in 2018. Her expertise extends to both in-house design and freelance work, particularly in the paper and textile industries. She has created production-ready patterns, illustrations, and designs for a diverse range of products. When she's not making art, she's talking about it. In 2022, Erin earned her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Massachusetts College of Art & Design. She began teaching, running workshops, and giving demos for student-artists. Being around a community of learners truly inspires her as an artist-educator.
