Bio:

Esme Lee is an illustrator and artist based in Yorkshire UK, mum of two autistic superhero children, and a former performing arts professional.

Illustration has been a lifelong passion, since collecting vintage children’s books as a child from car boot sales, from the Golden Age of Illustration and the midcentury eras. The beautiful illustrations in these old books taught her a love of colour and stylisation. Her favourite illustrators include Quentin Blake, Mary Blair, Maurice Sendak, Arthur Rackham and Dr Seuss.

Esme illustrates for children’s books, editorial, product design and surface design.
