Bio:

I'm Josiane Vlitos, an author/illustrator hailing from Vancouver BC. I revel in bringing stories to life through illustration. I am a firm believer that the power of creative storytelling can change the world; as such, I am an advocate for ethical stories that highlight climate change, mental health, and inclusivity. I aim to spread joy and understanding with my work.

My background is in graphic design. I have a degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr University, and I find this lends itself well when turning complex ideas into simple illustrations.

I create pieces for editorial work, children's books, and more.
Currently, I am producing a series of graphic novels with Oak Tree Comics that promote a wide range of environmental issues.
