Bio:

Born in Kobe, JAPAN and live in France; MARIKO is an artist with her principal production in illustrations.

From her experience of the earthquake in Kobe in her childhood, the coexistence of the nature and the human on earth become to her theme in life.
During her study at Kobe University - Human Development - Human expression, she was an exchange student for 1 year in Nice University - Arts in France.

Keeping the mode as her principal axis, she studied the technique and the theory of arts, with their pedagogies in Japan and in France.
After her diploma of University Kobe, she was moving to France.

From then on, she works for her creation keeping about the mode, with a thought that it's necessary to share her japanese sense :
of the nature and of the enjoyment, for the present day which advance the technology and the globalization.

Her principal material for illustrations is COPIC (the japanese marker pen) and Iwa Enogu (the japanese mineral pigment).
