Bio:

Former children’s art teacher with the Monart and Young Rembrandts franchises. Retired community art teacher for children and beginner adults for the St. Charles County Parks Dept. I have many artistic and creative interests—from painting realistic watercolors featuring flowers, birds, and vegetables to creating digital art for prints using Procreate for iPad. I am inspired by mid-century illustrations, particularly those found in vintage cookbooks and children’s books. I enjoy illustrating recipes for framed prints, as well as illustrating vintage household appliances and retro style food packages and tins. I also enjoy illustrating pictures for children—cute bunnies, cats, dogs and other characters.
