Palindrome Art is the work of illustrator, letterer, and muralist, Hannah Pearlman. My goal is to create artwork and products that inspire people to bring more beauty into their lives through their authentic selves. A palindrome myself, I'm inspired by the way things can be lovely and imperfect, all at once.
I’m an avid gardener, and so inspired by the way living things grow. Seemingly symmetrical, botanics are anything but, full of messy edges and surprising shapes.
I describe my style as maximalist folk art. I believe that shape, texture, and style don’t need to be vector perfect all the time, just like the world that surrounds is. There’s so much beauty and whimsy around us, why flatten it?
