Bio:

Let’s make pretty things!

That’s my motto! It drives every piece of my work.

Color and composition are my focus. You can tell I get a kick out of vibrancy and competing colorways.

My sources of inspiration are everywhere - from travel posters to childrens book illustrations to resort wear, jewerly and home decor.

My professional art career probably began right after nursery school. Books and music were everything to me. I now have a collection that includes the best - The Umbrella People, The Teeny Tiny Woman. I grew up on Mary Tyler Moore and psychedelic music. I was raised on hippie fashion, Vietnam protests, and the women’s empowerment movements. And yes, I turned out to be an artist. No surprises there.

My BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design is in Painting and Illustration. My MA in Advertising Creative is from The University of Texas at Austin. I’ve worked on three US coasts in publishing, entertainment, advertising, you name it!

I now travel extensively, I make pretty things into the wee hours of the night, I write and I work in Tech Marketing. I rasied a lovely young burgeoning filmmaker daughter. My sidekick is a french bulldog I named Piglet.
