Visited this amazing piece of 'heaven on earth' last summer for the first time...went all out, took a cruise from Montreal, then spent a week (which was not enough time) exploring this treasure. If you want sandy beaches, and warm water, and great seafood..oh my this is the place...you can literally walk for miles on sandy, squeaking, singing beaches!! These are French islands, and the culture, the food, the sights are outstanding. I think this is the greatest place in Canada, and I've been coast to coast a few times!! You can only get here by plane or ferry/cruise!! it's that isolated, but soooooooooo worth it!
