Picnic Challenge.

After years of moving, we had finally settled into our permanent home, made more so by getting a puppy! We brought Zinger along to a lakeside tailgate picnic, with the goal of teaching him to swim. Scott threw the ball into the water in vain, because Zinger was only interested in meeting the frogs (and later, turtles), in addition to being somewhat afraid of the water. It was over a year before he finally got the hang of it by watching another dog. After that happy incident, we couldn't keep him out of the water, while he practically shouted "Look at me!" every time he went in.
