The second lockdown hit Georgia in November. By that time, I had come to Tbilisi, the Georgian capital. The city, which dates back to about the 5th century, is full of interesting and beautiful places--Persian-influenced architecture, lopsided "Italian" courtyards, picturesque hills, and quiet, sleepy neighborhoods. With the great weather and decent coffee to go, we discovered new little routes every day. However, the walk down Rustaveli Avenue to the Old Town and back to Vake Park is my favorite.
