Recipe For Self Love
So much emphasis is based on who we are as a parent, spouse, friend, employee, etc. . We can often find ourselves run down, overwhelmed, and our energy depleted. My focus for this illustration is the importance of prioritizing ourselves. There are many things we can do to take that time to replenish, refuel, and relieve our minds and bodies of stress. In order to be our best for others, we must remember to take care of our own needs. This is a recipe for self love. Everyone's individual recipe is a bit different but it can be most simply stated as not placing yourself on the back burner!
