Matka kulfi is a popular dessert for Indian summers! It’s rich ice cream made with cream ; flavoured and topped with saffron strands, almonds , pistachios and rose petals! As a child I used to wait for the vendor to come riding on a bike with matka (earthen pots)filled with yummy kulfi! They’d bring so much relief against scorching sun!
