Cataplana is one of my favorite Portuguese dishes. It's the name of the copper pan it's cooked and served in, as well as the dish. A feast made with steamed seafood, sausage and sometimes meat or chicken in a spicy tomato based sauce touched with saffron. I've made it using soy chorizo for a pescatarian version, and dried chili pepper flakes for extra heat.
