For me, nothing beats having a huge variety of animals in your garden. Leave some logs for toads and other creatures to find shelter, place a birth bath and don't clean up all the fallen leaves, to create a place for hedgehogs to sleep under.
When placing a bird feeder, place different types of seeds and food to attract a diversity of birds to your place!
