Thus is my mom's Scallop potatoes and ham recipe. It is one of my favorite recipes! I did this for SCAD's DSGN-105 class.

Ingredients:
Gold or yellow potatoes
Shaved deli ham
3 tblsp flour
3 tblsp butter
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1 cup milk
1 cup water
Salt/pepper
Recipe:
Slice gold or yellow potatoes and boil until tender.
Create a roux by melting 3 tblsp of butter and then add 3 tblsp of flour.
Once it looks like a dough add a cup of milk and whisk. When it thickens, add chicken bouillon to a cup of water and let it mix then pour into the roux.
Whisk until combined.
Get a foil or ceramic dish and layer your sliced potatoes and deli ham (can be any ham from the deli, just has to be shaved).
Once everything is layered, pour your sauce over everything.
Get a sleeve of ritzs crackers and crush finely, then sprinkle to cover the top.
Place into a 375° degree oven for 30 minutes with foil gently covering the dish.
After 30 minutes, take foil off and continue to bake until the crust is golden brown.
Serve and enjoy!
