For 'The Great Outdoors' collaboration! - This is an illustration of a spot on the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet BC, on Vancouver Island. I went there for the first time this past summer and it really impacted me; the view of the ocean between giant cedars and the feeling of something ancient and huge but also close. It seems that if you go allllll the way to the very edge of the country - as far west as you can go without falling into the ocean - there's magic to find. This piece is done in coloured pencil, crayon, and marker, and finalized digitally in Photoshop.
