My great outdoors is my garden. I am a passionate gardener, some would say obsessive. I grow everything I can, such as annuals, perennials, fruits and vegetables. My favorite part is growing unusual things, such as purple asparagus, small yellow strawberries, black tomatoes and even small kiwis you can pop in your mouth. I go outside for inspiration, exercise and pleasure. Of course there are challenges like weather and hungry creatures, but I continue on. It is such a joy when I sit back and see the small miracle that is my garden.
