The Great Outdoors: I am forever fascinated by microcosms. In a garden, or a field of flowers, whole ecosystems exist beyond our notice, worlds within our world. In my landscape, the flowers bloom, and the creatures play out their mini-dramas (which, of course, are only mini to us). Our world is a marvel, made up of countless smaller marvels. I love when I happen upon them on a hike or just wandering about the great outdoors, these hidden pockets of tiny beautiful life.
