Carne asada is roasted and sliced beef, usually flank steak, flank steak, or flank steak, although loin steak can also be used. It is usually marinated and then roasted or seared to give it a charred flavor. Historians say that roast beef began under the influence of the Sephardic Jews who first populated the city.
