Pindang itself is a celebration of harmony. To be able to enjoy pindang, humans must synergize with nature; maintain the sustainability of rivers and swamps, because the best fish to be cooked into pindang ideally comes from wild fish that live in rivers and swamps, not those cultivated in ponds.
