This is an illustration of one of my favorite desserts, Flan. Flan is a custard dessert that my mother used to make all the time for me. I have had this recipe in my family for over 50 years and it is very special to me since it is made by mother. My siblings and I used to help her bake and would usually keep the kitchen a mess, so I wanted to show a small process on how the cake is made.
