Bio:

Hello! My name is Jenna Lechner (she/her pronouns) and I am a freelance illustrator living in Portland, Oregon, USA. I love to create patterns, maps, and other illustrated educational materials, such as illustrated timelines, and illustrated recipes!

I was born and raised in eastern Montana, but I studied art and art history at the University of Minnesota, as well as in Florence, Italy, where I regularly hung out with THE David, and drew. I graduated from the University of Oregon in Eugene, where I received a bachelor of fine arts degree (in printmaking) in 2010. I work in natural media like watercolor & pen and ink, & I have a soft spot for paper crafts, patterns, and print media. I love to create work with whimsical, nature-inspired themes.
