This map is reflecting how COVID-19 has impacted all of us. Instead of it being a huge travel season, many families have opted to stay put or try to do Thanksgiving outside or do Thanksgiving by Zoom. This map is just one family, mine, but so many are split and celebrating away from each other this year. One hopes that this a temporary situation.
